Repairable and Durable Sodium Bentonite Geosynthetic Clay Liner for

Product Introduction
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is a new type of
geosynthetic material, which is widely used in various seepage
prevention projects. Its main components are graded natural sodium
bentonite particles and corresponding admixtures, which are made by
fixing bentonite particles between geotextile and plastic woven
cloth by needling process.
Product Properties
1. Sodium bentonite is highly expandable, and can absorb water
quickly and expand after encountering water, forming a gel, so as
to effectively block the seepage channel and achieve waterproof
effect.
2. Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is convenient for
construction, short construction period, and is not affected by
temperature, and has the advantages of strong self-healing, small
size, light weight, high internal shear and tensile strength.
During the construction process, just lay the waterproof blanket on
the base and ensure that it fits with the base.
3. Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is made of natural inorganic
materials, even after a long time or changes in the surrounding
environment, there will be no aging or corrosion phenomenon, so the
waterproof performance is durable.
Product Application
1. Water conservancy: Used for seepage prevention of water
conservancy projects such as reservoirs, channels and rivers.
2. Environmental protection: Used for basic treatment and capping
of landfills.
3. Traffic: Used for seepage prevention of highway, railway and
other traffic projects.
4. Construction: Used for seepage prevention of basement, subway,
tunnel, underground passage and other underground buildings.
5. Landscape engineering: Used for seepage prevention of ecological
landscape engineering such as artificial lakes and water features.
