Special Glass Fiber Geogrid For Strengthening Railway Roadbed To Improve Stability
Production Introduction
Glass fiber geoglass is a kind of high performance geosynthetic material, which is used for pavement reinforcement, old road reinforcement, and reinforcement of roadbed and soft soil foundation.
Production Property
1. High strength: Fiberglass geogrates have high tensile strength
and low elongation, which means that it will not easily deform when
subjected to heavy loads.
2. Temperature resistance: Good high and low temperature
resistance, suitable for various climatic conditions.
3. Physicochemical stability: After special post-treatment agent
coating treatment, glass fiber geogrid can resist all kinds of
physical wear and chemical erosion, but also can resist biological
erosion and climate change, to ensure that its performance is not
affected.
Production Application
1. Application in road construction: Glass fiber geoglass can be
used to enhance asphalt pavement and cement concrete pavement,
whether it is hard or flexible pavement. It can reduce cost, extend
road life and prevent reflection cracks. In addition, it is also
suitable for soft soil foundation enhancement in railway, airport,
water conservancy and embankment projects.
2. Application in controlling reflective cracks: Reflective cracks
are caused by the stress concentration in the asphalt overlay above
the old concrete surface due to the large displacement near the
joints or cracks. Glass fiber gegrates can extend the service life
of roads by slowing the development of reflective cracks.
3. Application in controlling ruts: Under high temperature
conditions, asphalt road surfaces may soften and produce ruts. The
use of glass fiber geogles can create a skeleton effect in the
asphalt surface layer, limiting the movement of aggregates and
increasing the lateral binding force, thus resisting the formation
of ruts.
4. Application in anti-low temperature shrinkage cracking: in cold
regions, tensile stress will be generated when asphalt roads shrink
in winter, which may lead to the formation of cracks. The tensile
strength of asphalt concrete can be greatly improved by using glass
fiber geoglage, so that it can resist the larger tensile stress
without damage.
